The Retro-check IR is compact, easy to use and specially designed to check the authenticity of ID documents such as passports, ID cards and driving licenses
Besides that, the device is ideal for checking other value documents, like banknotes, bank cards and creditcards.
The Retro-check has undergone an upgrade and is equipped with the following checking methods:
- Transmitted light: can be used for checking watermarks and micro laser perforations.
- Oblique light: can be used for checking dry embossings and latent images
- Retroreflection: can be used for checking retro reflecting laminate.
- UV light: can be used for checking UV reactions in documents.
- IR camera in combination with monitor for checking IR reactions.
- 10x illuminated magnifier: can be used for checking micro texts.
